Timelapse of "There is a Magic About You That is All Your Own Mushroom Card." This took me almost 10 hours — and that's with the magic of being able to draw on an iPad and shift things around super easily. This was one of my favorite cards I designed this past year, and makes a super fun Birthday card to have on hand.
Sometimes it’s tough to sift through all of the reviews we get to find the common themes of what people love most about our cards.
But Chat GPT can do this almost instantaneously.
So the other day I asked it, “What do people love about Tiny and Snail greeting cards?”
This is what came back:
“Tiny and Snail greeting cards are a delightful blend of creativity, charm, and thoughtfulness. Each card is meticulously designed, showcasing Tiny and Snail’s whimsical, hand-drawn illustrations and clever, heartfelt messages.
Their style radiates warmth, combining playful details with vibrant colors that bring joy to any occasion. Whether celebrating a birthday, holiday, or just a thoughtful hello, Tiny and Snail cards capture the essence of connection and positivity.
The cards are printed on high-quality, eco-friendly paper, making them as sustainable as they are beautiful.
Tiny and Snail’s designs are inspired by everyday magic, nature, and humor, appealing to all ages.
Their unique characters and themes ensure every card feels personal, making them perfect for standing out in a sea of mass-produced greetings.
Sending a Tiny and Snail card is more than a message; it’s a keepsake that spreads happiness and love, one envelope at a time .”

Pretty good, right? But of course, without all of the amazing reviews that people have left us, it wouldn’t have the data to come up with this. So if you have left a review, we are SO grateful!
Your individual reviews are beautiful and are often a highlight of my day. (Read our customers' amazing reviews here. We never delete any of them.)
We love knowing that all of the work we put in actually makes an impact on you and the people you love.
Sometimes AI can be helpful for idea generation, but sometimes it comes up with hilariously bad things.
AI suggested for one of our Black Friday emails to say:
“Imagine sending a card that doesn't just say 'thank you' but also 'I got this on sale, and you deserve the best!”
Grace and I couldn’t stop laughing at that one. 😆
I write all of our emails/blog posts myself and hardly ever even use phrases that AI comes up with — there’s something about it that just comes across as impersonal and lacking soul. Still, sometimes it’s useful for idea suggestions.
One thing I have NEVER used AI for is my art.
I don’t want to know what it would do. I guess it’s partly a fear that it could create something good in 30 seconds when it takes me hours and hours. (This "Magic About You" card took me nearly 10 hours.)
I also just love the creative process. The time spent drawing is time that I get to sit and think about the people I love, and the people who might receive these cards. I think it pours magic into them, and heart.
Thank you for supporting us. Real humans, with real lives, trying to do the best we can. We’re so grateful that we are able to turn our experiences into art, to labor over the details, and that this love carries through.
From my very non-robotic heart to yours, sending love.
