Great book alert: The Wealth Money Can't Buy

If you’ve been around here for a while, you might know that one of my favorite podcasts is “Feel Better Live More.”

Dr. Chatterjee just interviewed Robin Sharma, who has written several books self-improvement and spirituality, and I’ve basically been telling everyone about this episode (including you, now!)

I was so taken by his interview that I immediately started listening to his book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy.”

It’s filled with all sorts of wisdom – and it mostly makes me feel very grateful for all the things I have in my life: my current stable health, the close relationships I have with my family, the meaningful work I get to pour myself into with Tiny and Snail.

But this book is also a great wake up call for me too – that I should be reading more, savoring more, spending more time with the people I love, and prioritizing being present.

So far, it’s gotten me to reach out to a few friends this week who I otherwise might not have, to read for a few hours that I wouldn’t have, and to write a couple cards and letters that I might not have either.

I hope that you take a listen to the podcast and if you find it intriguing, read or listen to the book as well (the audio version is free on Spotify Premium, if you have it).

I feel like I could read this book at least a few times over, and get more and more out of it. Each chapter is short and bite-sized. It feels like a friend, encouraging me to live my best life possible.

I hope wherever you are in life, this book might help you savor all the blessings that surround you, and be a gentle encouragement to be more present and enjoy the journey more.

Rooting for you always,

I’m so glad to be reminded of this podcast and to learn about this amazing book. I’m listening to the interview with Robin Sharma, and I’ve just ordered the book too. What a treasure trove of ideas to enrich the Heartspoken Life! Thank you for the recommendations.
