I wanted to share what I wrote to Grace in her birthday card, why she is one of the reasons I'm alive, and a time-lapse of the art on the card that I illustrated and chose to write in for her birthday this year.
Tiny and Snail wouldn't be possible without Grace. Our skill sets work so well together—she's organized and on top of things in a way that I'll never be. 😅 Getting to work as sisters (and having a reason to talk on the phone almost every day) was the main reason behind starting this company together.
Hopefully this video sparks you to write to someone who has been a force of good in your life too. And to have a little dance party, whether alone or with a friend. 💃👩🏽🦽

There is a kind of magic that happens as we call out and honor a Day of Birth. We acknowledge the Amazing Serendipity of a Person’s Presence in our lives. It’s a Wonder that they are on this Earth at all and, not only that, they are IN OUR LIVES!

This is a such a meaningful video, Leah. I am in awe of the beautiful and powerful and life sustaining sister-sister bond you two have. I loved hearing your post-surgery thoughts Grace’s blue eyes allowing you to see the sky. Even then, you were thinking about nature and your deep connection to it.
