Sit Still, Drop Your Phone, and Enjoy The Magic In Front Of You — Everyday, Encouragement Card

"Sit Still, Drop Your Phone, and Enjoy The Magic In Front Of You" was a message we featured on a card a number of years ago. I wanted to do a "reboot" version... capturing both the magic of flowers and tea/coffee. 

This phrase came to me when I was in the ICU after my spinal cord injury. Everything came across in a new light to me. I was stunned by the gift of something as simple (yet miraculous) as being able to swallow a sip of coffee.

This piece is a little meditation in itself. It's a card to remind us to take time to just enjoy the simple things in life and to get away from our phones more often. 

Cultivating awe and attention for the miracles of everyday life is such an antidote to the heaviness that also exists in the world.
