Sometimes it's hard to know what to say to someone to acknowledge how much you admire them or are inspired by them.
I bump into this on a daily basis. People see me "out and about" in my wheelchair, and they feel like they want to comment. I've gotten a lot of "I'm proud of you!" (which seems ill-fitting coming from a stranger). I've gotten "I'm so inspired by you!" (Which makes me think, "What am I inspiring you to do?")
My personal favorite, the one that makes me beam, is "YOU'RE A BADASS."
I knew I had to make a larger card of our tiny "you're a badass" card.
This card can apply to someone fighting for health in the ICU, for birthdays, congratulations, and many more occasions.
