ART PRINT 8x10” — Our Lady of the Moon

Our Lady of the Moon came to me while I was living in a community in Canada for a few months (a wonderful commune called Madonna House).

A fellow visitor was talking about an experience of sleeping in a cornfield with "Mary's Moon up above," and I instantly knew what he meant.

In my quiet time, I drew out this illustration of "Our Lady of the Moon."

I've always associated the moon with my mom  — she often notices the moon and exclaims how beautiful it is. 

She taught us a lullaby called "Silver Moon" when we were kids, and that's one of my first memories of waking up in the ICU — my family gathered around me, singing Silver Moon. 

I almost didn't come out with this card, but Grace and our mom liked the card so much, we decided other people might need it too. 

It's been a surprising best seller, resonating with people from different faith backgrounds. 

We are all sons and daughters under the moon. 

May Our Lady of the Moon provide some light and comfort to others. 

May this image feel like a comforting hug.
